Para una abordaje sistemático a los senos paranasales, hay un concepto sobre puertas y habitaciones. Si cada lamela vertical fuera la puerta de una habitación, podríamos abrir una puerta y limpiar la habitación, no?. La primera puerta es el proceso unciforme/ agger nasi, en esta habitación, como dejaremos la bulla intacta, encontraremos el receso frontal y el ostium natural del seno maxilar. Si abrimos la segunda puerta (el rostro de la bulla), nos encontraremos con el complejo etmoidal anterior y la arteria etmoidal anterior. Abriendo la tercera puerta (lamela basal), en la siguiente habitación nos encontraremos con el complejo etmoidal posterior y la arteria etmoidal posterior. La última puerta es el rostrum esfenoidal, que abre el camino para los componentes que se encuentran en su interior.
🇬🇧 For a systematic (front to back) approach to the paranasal sinuses, there is a concept out there about doors and rooms. If you think of each vertical lamella as a door to a chamber, you can open the door and clean the room. The first door would be the uncinate process/ agger nasi, in the first chamber, as we leave the bulla intact, we would find the frontal recess and the maxillary natural ostium. As we open the second door (the face of the bulla), we will find the anterior ethmoidal complex and the anterior ethmoidal artery (which should be posterior to the bulla). By opening the third door (basal lamella), we should encounter in the next room the posterior ethmoidal complex and the posterior ethmoidal artery. The fourth door is the face of sphenoid sinus, which opens the way to its own interior components.
